The Global Council for Industrial Cooperation is an independent, non-profit council focused on cross-market industrial cooperation.
GCIC connects industry organizations, manufacturing enterprises, technology and engineering institutions, project owners, researchers and professional partners around real operating objectives, industrial needs and market opportunities.
Industrial cooperation rarely has only one direction. A market may need materials, equipment, technology or engineering expertise. An enterprise in that same market may also bring a solution, capability or idea that is valuable elsewhere.
We begin with the result that needs to change, then ask what each participant can contribute and what responsibility it can take.

GCIC's role is to frame a cooperation question, identify the people who should be involved, clarify responsibilities and document the next step. Institutional dialogue can then lead to technical exchange, focused research, a pilot discussion or a longer-term project.
Our work includes institutional dialogue, roundtables, research and knowledge exchange, and the development of cooperation frameworks.

Participating organizations retain their identities and responsibilities. GCIC does not trade goods or replace the parties responsible for technical claims, due diligence, commercial contracts, compliance and delivery.

A clearly defined question, a documented agreement, a useful technical exchange or a decision with a responsible next step gives cooperation something to build on.
